I might come across as harsh or a #### or whatever, but look at this from a rational perpspective. You are brand new to the industry, having an employer tolerate two dogs in he equipment is just ridiculous and unreasonable. That's like going for a job interview, but saying I can only work from noon-5, M-Th and would like my own office.
Trucking might be a little less restrictive, but it is still a job. If you do find a company who will allow two dogs, plus a rider with a brand new driver, more power to you. But you might need to reorganize your priorties.
Wanting to start somewhere but having a main problem?

Might be harsh... but that IS the bottom line. You can't choose your battles, then select what terms you want to fight on when it comes to this industry. Most people are lucky to get a local gig out of school... even less will have a choice on how they want things to work when it comes to OTR. the OP is at a very strong disadvantage on this one. You need to make some serious adjustments to whatever arrangements you need... which may include leaving your pets at home with someone else.
