Where Are You....continues........

I am no longer a fugitive of justice. I have a new Court Appointment at 9am May 1st.
After my morning run I went to the office. My check wasn't exactly great. But I found out I would not be thrown in jail just for showing up. And it was fairly easy to get the re-set.

So then to SDV for some docs andca crate at 833#. Then into Humble for a 30# Hazmat.
Then took the big crate to World Trade Houston. Then took the small one to DHL.

Then heard nothing else. Stopped at Half Price Books and got a couple Clancy I didn't have. And got home a wee bit prior to 18:30.

 

Yeah!!! :smt038 I am so glad for you Dave! Just make sure you don't miss that new Court Appointment....

 

Richmond Ky. hiding behind a DG for a morning delivery, last week time I was in Memphis Tn.....a big change in neighborhoods

 

Thank you Mr. Iron... I don't know where that Independence Pass is... But in any case, I do a VERY meticulous trip plan... I check my big map, check all the roads, state roads, US roads, back roads, streets, etc to make sure there are no truck restrictions, low overpasses and such. I even go to the extreme of using Google satellite view when I am in doubt whether or not trucks use them. Sometimes I compare the Navigator we have in the truck with my GPS and Google route. I don't adventure out there with the big truck without knowing the area... My trip planning takes quite some time but it's time very well spent.

Now I am at a rest area in CO, already passed that Vail place... Tomorrow will take some US roads... But it seems the weather will be ok... You all be very safe.

 

Oh... and my company has in each one of their trucks a complete set of chains. We don't use them, but we carry them for ever...

 

Shame I didn't see ur post sooner Rocks--looks like you ran across 70--which is pretty enuff--But could of made a real nice trip--down thru Southern Colorado into NM then AZ--and even got to say you fell off Wolf Creek Pass--(I luv that trip btw)anyway enjoy the scenery......

Ahh well then your having a good mornin--got my FIX this AM in Dansville NY---DD---now ifn they jus finish loadin me I can git nother in Cortland on way south!!
