The scoop on K&B Transport

Does KB run loads of hanging Beef? or for that matter does anyone do that anymore? I worked at JBS and everything was Boxed up and ready for the store.

 

KB local drivers hauls swinging meat for Tyson from Denison,IA to Dakota City,NE.Not the otr division.I was a local hauler for kb for 2 yrs.

 

KB was running ads on craigslist Denver they say they Guarantee 2,500 miles a week.

 

I heard the same type of things from 2 other KB drivers I met in Illinois a bit ago.

 

my boss was ordering me a new truck couple of weeks ago
i told him just get me out of this K & B blue

 

They've got more Craigslist ads than than George Strait selling ocean front property in Arizona.

 

Gotta admit, the $950 a week guarantee is pretty hot. Abe made this company famous, LOL.

 

They increased that to $1025 guarantee drivertobroker.

 

They were famous before that really. Those freight classics were beat down like an old JB Hunt Cabover Cornbinder. Lol

 

I applied for a job with K&B Transportation last year, but funny thing happened the recruiter pretty much talked me out of accepting the job. I am female , so basically he told me I would have to be able to unload the trucks, and asked if I would be willing to do that, because they unload their own trucks a lot of the time, and then he said I will have to drive overnights because all their loads deliver in the early am., so would I be okay with that? I said no I don't think I would be willing to do that, so he said okay good luck and hung up. Now 'I'm thinking he was being really nice and saving me from a really bad job? What do you think?
