Wait a minute.... $21 million for six employees? Maybe I am not understanding all the story. (While it didnt say this) Possibly they are suing for ALL Schneider lumper's across the US?
-
Schneider advertising appeared when I pulled it up - hilarious!

Its not too late to get a little piece of the action

Moron. You ALWAYS include EVERYONE who MIGHT BE liable in a lawsuit, you can drop them later if need be. If a jury of nitwits finds a party not included in the suit is somehow 100% liable, the plaintiffs get zip.

"The settlement has been agreed to by both parties, but has not yet been approved by the judge. With different sources reporting different things, it is unclear whether Walmart will be expected to pay part of the settlement and how many other workers will be receiving a piece of the $21 million."Grumppy Thanks this.

The Lawyers will get more than any of the complaintants.

I'm with Grumppy. This article doesn't pass the sniff test. $21 Million for 6 lumpers? 16 hours/day, 7 days/week, "less than minimum wage?" I apologize to anyone who actually does this, but in a Walmart warehouse? For a mega-carrier? Nope. Doesn't add up. For me, anyway. I'd better look a little more.
"It must be true. I heard it from a brother trucker, who got it from a driver who heard it on TV at a truckstop." -
Schneider already agreed to pay it.
The Lawsuit covers over 1800 workers in 3 different warehouses. http://www.greenbaypressgazette.com...ider-Logistics-settles-lawsuit-pay-21-million
Schneider had the same thing happen here as well at a different walmart. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/05/14/walmart-warehouse-wage-theft_n_5324021.html
"In December, a federal judge approved a settlement in a separate lawsuit filed against Schneider by warehouse workers moving Walmart product. In that case, the company agreed to pay out $4.7 million to 568 workers. The workers claimed the company failed to pay them overtime and made immigrant deductions from their paychecks. None of those workers were directly employed by Walmart, either."
Lots of interesting information out there about it. -
The ironic thing is lumpers are the king when it comes to scheming money out of people.
