Just before 5 so the sun was coming up. Enough light to show a truck and trailer on the shoulder with no lights. Probably somebody on their phone

Or someone up all night. Only a coward and idiot runs. They must of panicked because of something underlying like drinking or such.
I almost got hit by another truck driver the same way. Though I pulled over because I thought I had a blow out. He missed me by 6". I quickly got in the truck and gave him a royal cussing. He had the left lane too but like an idiot stayed in the right. If I didn't think it was a left drive I would of walked down the other side which I suggest everyone do. You can't trust everyone.
RIP driver! -
It wasn't that light out at that time, I left for work then and was up that way at 10am. The thing is about that area is that people don't watch what's going on, it isn't that they are the phone or texting, they are just stupid people who shouldn't be driving. As I heard and later read about the accident, I wonder if he stepped out into traffic which happened a few weeks ago in Detroit, the guy got out of his car and was walking to the back of his car when he got hit because he stepped right over the line. That guy survived and the driver stopped, both said that he was so close to the lane and then stepped out, it happened so fast.
