That is very true, and I have no problem with that. "Have a Plan, Work the Plan".

However, anyone with a plan to bail right after training and successfully testing out should consider their recruiter. Recruiters are paid by commission, and they only get paid once you have delivered your first solo load. Good karma would be to go solo for at least a few weeks to give consideration to all the hard work of your recruiter and your mentor.

 

If you quit swift after completing the 240 hours can you go to another company like US Xpress ?

 

I don't see why not. Afterall you would have a legit CDL. Why go trucking for $0.26 a mile when you could earn perhaps $0.10 more?

You can go anywhere immediately after Academy. I was talking to 3 other companies (USX being one) while at Academy.

 

Does Swift give you a certificate stating that you complete the academy ?

 

Took me awhile to stop laughing after I read that one. Maybe he can send them a written apology with a Starbucks gift card or something to cheer him up while he's feeding his next group of suckers there plate of BS

 

If the tuition is paid in full, otherwise they hold onto the certificate until they receive all payments.
