What truck did you order? How long to get a truck after you order?

 

who is putting it together for you..

 

Its a new pete and from the day I finalized the spec sheet to the day I should take delivery of it will be 8 or 9 weeks. The truck was built last friday the 25th and then they have two weeks to deliver it to the dealer. Then they inspect it and put on some extra stuff I ordered and then it's mine…

 

Green Bay Peterbilt. This is the second truck I've bought from them and it's only because the sales guy knows his stuff. Everything that all the other dealers said couldn't be done, Denis @ Peterbilt was able to get it spec'd the way I wanted.

 

Awesome! I'm ordering mine this Week'. So was wondering how long before my 389 will show up

 

I initially ordered a two tone 389. With the hood fenders being a different color than the hood and cab/sleeper. For some reason they don't build trucks based on when they receive the order, it's all about options and colors. They said that since I wasn't getting a solid one color truck, it wasn't going to be built until this month and I didn't want to wait that long, so I changed it to a single color. After submitting my paperwork it took about a month or so to get a build date. It's a long process but I know I'll be happy when it comes in!

Kona 911 what type of tractor did you order and a short summary of the specs thanks

 

So here is kona, a guy that hasn't been with Mercer all that long. He has managed to make enough money to not only buy a brand new, stretched out, loaded pete. But also a brand new conestaga trailer. At the same company that some come on here and say they went broke at. Guess some guys are capable of making smart decisions and some just can't.

 

That's why skateboardman, myself, and others have said in the past, if you need someone to hold your hand, Mercer is NOT going to be a good fit for you.
