Knowing only a USX express team on a CEVA account I'd recommend them.
But - you gotta hustle , form good relationships, think outside the company box, smile and comb your hair.
The other ones . . . only hearsay.

With all due respect, dude -
That's a cheezy cut and paste that doesn't offer any real experience.
Nothing against the pumpkin patch bro - but this guy is embarking on a real life adventure! He needs INFO !archangelic peon, Tonythetruckerdude and TruckDuo Thank this. -
Go Conway hands down!
Guitar Man Thanks this. -
If it were me I'd pick Conway or Schneider, just for the fact they have the largest freight bases to keep you moving. If you're going to team, you want to keep moving at all times to maximize your incomes,or why even bother? Out of the 2 I'd probably pick Conway, because they look to have better equipment than the big orange. And that is going to matter, seeing as you're going to be spending about 80% of your lives inside that truck.
. Good luck to you and your better half! Stay safe and don't sweat the small stuff, because there's going to be a lot of it! Lol
navywill Thanks this. -
I wouldn't recommend Schneider since they don't allow inverters.
Check out Old Dominion. They pay 68 cpm for teams.Last edited: Aug 7, 2014
navywill, Guitar Man, Chinatown and 1 other person Thank this. -
Why Conway?
-
Never been a fan of the big orange.... Too big, too corporate, too out of touch with families and drivers. Conway will put your names on the truck and I've heard that they're driver friendly from a bunch of their drivers over the years. I definitely wouldn't go with US Xpress, they lie out there teeth... (worked for them for a month and nothing they said was true) But so does Schneider (had a family friend work for them for a few years) ... Are you just getting started in trucking?blairandgretchen Thanks this.
-
Yes I am. Were in CDL school now

I started 5 years ago with CRST... Not a very good company... Honestly Conway would be great place to start out... You're lucky.. You get to choose... I didn't...blairandgretchen Thanks this.

Good on you for the honesty , bud.
Yes - CRST definitely last choice, though I'm surprised by a bad experience at USX.
Not all companies are a good fit for all.
