I know Maverick will hire anyone with a clean record and a CDL and I've heard they are a great company. I'm seriously considering lone star now lol

Here's a list of flatbed companies that hire new drivers. My 2 favorite are System Transport and Melton Truck Lines because of good miles and benefits. Check these websites and pick a good company.

    Falcon Transport
    System Transport (trans-system)
    Melton Truck Lines
    Boyd Brothers
    Maverick
    TMC
    Howard Transportation
    Watkins & Shepard (flatbed division)

    indianaEMT and Supertrucker15 Thank this.

if you drove for system you would have to park the truck in the gary yard i would imagine when you went on hometime... but maybe not ive never actually seen another truck inthe yard when ive been there. but i try to get in and out of gary as fast as i can...

We take the trucks home on week-ends. No need to drop in yard. Training is in DSM. We have one of the best flatbed training programs

Excellent idea. I tell other drivers interested to do the same no matter where they are. I did that in the Calvert, AL area near the old TK steel mill (now owned by 2 other companies).
