So, I have to update my rant from a week and half ago (sent out on a trip to do a first setup of a new restaurant and turned around 200 miles in because the restaurant wasn't close to being ready.
Turns out that the load (that I left for on a tuesday) didn't end up leaving until friday.
But payday was friday and my pay stub showed I got paid for all the pieces. I made like $500 for driving 420 miles and even getting to sleep in my own bed.
So I guess I can't rant too much.I Drive Thanks this. -

Fedex is very anti-union and they brain wash upon hiring. When I did temp work at FDX ground if you mentioned the "u" word you were put under the radar lol

I worked for FedEx Ground and FedEx Express. At Ground I ran teams and pulled doubles it was pretty easy money. I never had any problem with them. Express was tough. I worked really hard every day but they treated me good and it was hard to get fired. I worked for an OTR company called TLI before they were sold and all we did was FXF loads. They were really laid back at all the terminals I went to. I never had a problem with them ever and they were friendly. Their drivers seemed to like it there as well, I talked to them all the time. I'll say that i do believe FXF runs a tighter ship but not nearly as bad as UPSF. All UPS seem to treat their employees like dirt!
Shaggy and road_runner Thank this. -
This might be the most bizarre post on here.
But after accepting the job with FxF, doing a test drive with them, filling out all the forms, and even posing to have a pic taken for my employee badge... I have decided to turn the job DOWN.
Believe it or not, part of my decision was based on your guys' feedback on this forum. Special thanks to those of you that keep in touch with me on spacebook. I appreciate your input and continued friendship.Shaggy Thanks this. -
Congratulations for keeping current employer ?!?
