Jeanette was the worst dispatcher I've ever worked with. I've never worked with someone ruder when you simply are making a phone call to see about your next load info. Hate is a strong word but I borderline hate her

Well I finally got all my paperwork together and brought the spread sheets up to current. I had been putting it off for the last week and a half or so since i quit. After all is said and done it looks like they are attempting to shaft me out of $425 on my way out the door. I'll have to call them up and get that corrected on Monday unless it was intentional. It's hard to know with these guys. They've made countless mistakes I've had to correct and every single "mistake" they've ever made has shorted me money. If they were honest mistakes you would think they would over pay once in a while as well.

They had their ups and downs, but I can honestly say I'm not going to miss em although i do value them as a great launching point.

I thought that taking the rest of the year off would be a nice way to unwind from the last year and a half running all over the North American Continent, but I'm restless as hell. I watched some old Dash cam videos the other day just to get my "fix". That diesel gets in your blood i swear it lol. I'm liable to get in my Car and head Eastward Somewhere at any given time. Got some friends in Montana and Minnesota who want me to come visit. May have to make a road trip here shortly.

I'm screening small companies up in SD,ND,WY and MT right now running Hopper Bottom mainly. One company I'm talking to is claiming to have 18 Speed Peterbilt Gliders with 800hp Cat's. Tad bit focking ridiculous, but More powa never hurt? lol.

The accessory pay is what they've mainly attempted to sneak out of paying several times now. They've also failed to pay a trip from a couple months back at this point now I'm still trying to collect on despite a couple phone calls I've already had with payroll about it. They normally resolve issues promptly though and without complaint.

They always need drivers in just about all their divisions. You might be interested in their NW Regional or NW heavy haul (8 axle 105k) fleet. You will want to be ready to enter Canada with a passport in hand if you join either of those fleets though. You will work your arse off often tarping twice a day and chaining will not be uncommon as WA and OR throw up Chain laws whenever the sky gets a little cloudy it seems. I've talked with several drivers there and some say you make more, some say less and some say the same. I never could seem to get them all to reach any kind of a common consensus. One thing they did all agree on is your really just getting home for a 34 hour reset most "weekends". Come in Friday night,Leave Sunday Morning kinda thing.

The recruiters at Systems are not dishonest, but they will twist things and leave things out as to present their case in such a way as to benefit them. What they do say is generally true though.

Just as a side note you may want to look into these guys.

    http://bozeman.craigslist.org/trp/4770869490.html

I'm job hunting a bit myself right now so i talked with them last week. It's not a bad gig, but just not really my cup of tea. I need more variety than that :D.

Paying .36cpm on the HUB. 2 runs per week back and forth Between Boise and Bozeman which should equal out to about 2k miles a week. Company is JE Williams out of Billings. Only will be paying 700 bucks a week Gross, but you could have a 3 day weekend every weekend no problem if it works out like they say it will. They are shopping for benefits right now and said that benefits could be as high as 300 bucks a month to the driver.

Safety Record isn't perfect, but the trucks run 68mph and all paper logs.

They sent me an app to fill out and said i would be a shoo in for the job, but like i said it's too much work and not enough adventure for me :D. lol

So I was supposed to spend Thanksgiving at home (5 days after running 5 weeks). I was gonna unload in Kent, WA on Monday morning 24th and load back to Spokane for my 5 days off 26-30th. Unfortunately I got food poisoning Sunday night and called 911 early Monday morning to come get me from truck stop. They put me on IV and after several hours took me back to the truck. I was still dizzy/lightheaded. Jeanette said I could deliver Tuesday.
My cousin lives near by and she came and got me as I was still real sick. I laid whole day in her apartment, constantly running to bathroom to puke. I called System and told them I left key at the fuel desk at the truck stop. Jeanette still called me and insisted that I would deliver Wednesday and get loaded back to Spokane. I told her how that I will try but I can't promise my health condition to improve after one day.
My cousin cared for me and got me some kefir, etc to make me feel better.
My family drove all the way from Spokane to help me. My brother came to help me with tarps as I could barely stand, still dizzy.
Wednesday morning I felt a bit better and called Jeanette that I could try to deliver load and she told me it was already delivered. At this point I asked for load for Spokane once I get to the truck. She got all mad "What do you mean you're not at the truck?!"
I explained to her once again that my cousin got me from truck as I was real sick.
Once my family came from Spokane, they took me to the truck, where I found another driver took the gear on trailer and didn't put whatever I had on trailer back into the truck, straps, chains, bungees, etc and my strap that I secured 4x4's with.
At this point I drove to Tacoma and picked up empty and brought it back to North Bend yard and picked up loaded trailer of scissor lifts. My brother helped me secure them as I was in no shape to do so, still feeling dizzy.
Jeanette called me and asked me when I will come back to work after Thanksgiving. I said maybe I could have another extra day (monday) and she says "We can't have that, we've already lost 2 days worth of revenue" <===those are her exact words.
I think I made mistake of returning to the truck in bad shape I was in. I should've just cleaned it out and returned home to Spokane with family.
Almost don't want to go out Monday morning. I'm still dizzy but I'm not nauseous anymore. What do you guys think? Did company screw me over or should I just keep being their #####.

I would have also. Additionally, I would NOT be driving if feeling dizzy. Chances are good that you are still dehydrated, drink LOTS of water and some Gatorade to get your electrolytes back up. Your health before your job, bud... your health before your job!

I was browsing local ads and looks like TWT is hiring and starting out at .40c/mile. What's up with this? Here I am working my ### off like a sucker for lousy .32c/mile and these guys get 40c mile. When I was starting out they were hiring TWT drivers at .31c/mile.
