hello and thanks

Hi. I hope everyone is safe tonight . About me, I am not a driver nor do I want to be. I prefer to keep the the trucks running and keep them safe. Ive been on here a few times and have gotten alot of good info from here. It gives me alot of insight as to what is really going on in trucking. Most of my conversations with drivers are at 3 am discussing why they are broke down on the side of the road and how quickly I can get them rolling again.
Anyway the forums are great and I just wanted to tell all the contributors thank you.

 

Yes im a mechanic by day and run service truck at night for a tow company. During the day im maintaining a fleet of 10 trucks plus whatever repairs come in off the hi ways. Everything is always so rushed I hardly ever get to see the other side of the fence so to speak. Every now and again ill have some good conversations when a driver offers to man the light for me but most climb in the sleeper and try to get some rest while I fix whatever. I just figured this site was a good place to get a little better understanding of how it all works while the tires are turning.
