Call in till they answer to make sure they know your empty. On multiple drops they don't know till you tell them. Even if you sent message with Qualcomm I still call till I talk to someone.
Glad I moved over to Poly Trucking

Yeah i found that out the hard way already lol. I actually called them yesterday and told them if they dont give me a backhaul i will be unloaded and headed to a truck stop before they show up for work trying to get the ball rolling. Still no backhaul as of today. Fingers crossed for that 250$. I just want to take hometime on my next outbound so the faster i get out of here the faster i can get to the house.

I managed to not only drop all 3 of my stops today, but also managed an hour and a half headed for my backhaul. Enroute to my final stop in Fitzgerald, GA, back haul calls. Pick up in Honea Path, SC(yea, exactly what I said too)...but pick up Thursday headed for a Fort Worth delivery on Monday...after I hung up, I immediately called Outbound to see what the weekend freight was like...he said busy...why? Just checking before I request a 900...which day's board do you want to be put on...if you're on the board you'll get the 900...Put me on Sunday please. I deliver, call the broker and get the delivery time for Monday and send off my 900-diff request...5 minutes later...granted! Sweeeeeet. And getting on Sunday's board on Tuesday...means I have to be up close to the top of the list. Oh, and the broker is working on getting me loaded on Wednesday since I hustled and got empty early.

Stopping by the house tonight for some laundry, good vittles and whatnot. Picking my Sumner load up in the morning and already on the board for next Wednesday in GP as I have to get a back haul to take care of my DOT inspection and PM. Continuing to run into good weather, just hope that holds up for the remainder of the season.
