i saw statistics somewhere, unsure if they are true or not, that said 95% of the trucking companies in the country are small fleets with less then 100 trucks.... if that's true why hasn't there been any effort to actually organize a strike or someway to make things better.... there is no way the mega fleets will be able to move the amount of freight moved on a daily biases.

Assuming your statistic is correct, the reason people/companies aren't organizing is that every company has a different circumstance. What is a PITA for company A may not even be close to an issue for company B. Company B's issues don't apply to A or C. So it's just a matter of opinions. So let's assume that companies A-S decide to strike. Companies T-Z seize the opportunity to make some extra income, even if just short term.

At the end of the day, large or small, opportunity to earn more will usually win.

Strike? You can't get 3 drivers waiting in the buffet line to agree what the weather is outside! And you think they will agree to a nationwide strike?

In a nutshell, what he is saying is"

"...I've got 14 posts on TTR now, that pretty much means I know all there is to know about trucking, and can correct drivers with experience and tell them they've been doing everything wrong."

He'll be the first one on here crying with a different user name when he loses his job due to a safety camera
