Take it as a compliment driver. Just tell yourself your switch couldn't make it through the storm. After only 1 year you're the go to guy for Memphis ice.
-
Well at least I will be able to listen to some coast to coast tonight
-
There you go, positive from a negative.

If it makes you feel any better my radar shows only a little rain in Memphis. What rain there was has moved east and it doesn't look like it was freezing.
EDIT: Ahh, never mind. I just looked at Villiem's weather link. -
I like this thought. Desk jockeys think in slow motion to me. If someone pulled a load off me like that, I would teach them a lesson. How? That load to Memphis is 300 miles. Doable in 4.5 hours. When your travel agent shows up to work, I would be at the destination MT and waiting, blowing up the phone and the Qualcomm.
"Got a load yet? Got a load yet? Got a load yet? Got a load yet? Got a load yet? Got a load yet? Got a load yet?" -
Heres the deal....if I give you a load you're going to take it or we're going to have a big problem......the kind of problem where the police kick you out of our truck.

Hehehe... Oh I like that.
So far it's just rain up this direction buddy. Nice cool 60 degrees (a little warm for me, but depends on your taste.). I didn't stop at wildwood, but I did stop at the top of monteagle. ...I don't recall my engine ever getting that warm coming up to the top, but I've got a lift gate and I'm heavier than usual.
My hours are low (70 hour clock) so I'll more likely than not get stuck up here myself. -
I have heard of several stories where a dispatcher got his butt kicked by a pissed off driver.
