What the heck are you even talking about?

Does Steven have some sort of "alliance program"? What is that?

It's there lease a truck and never own it program.
I was an owner operator for them for 12 years, you will only clear a few hundred a week if lucky more than a company driver, unless you run team or train drivers... Best advise is to stay away and save up a down payment.

If you have to ask, or if you feel conflicted, then by all means RUN AWAY from any lease program as a new driver coming into the job/industry. Unless you like added stress and potential for bankruptcy and being kept "hungry and scared and on the edge of failure" to start your career.

Stevens does not have a good lease program. Their operations method changed recently and miles dropped substantially for lease drivers to the point that they lost the pay advantage over company drivers. Their training is good but their alliance lease program is not. If you are set on leasing look for a company that offers lease purchase so you have the truck at the end, Stevens is a long term rental program. Better still, stay company, save your dimes for a down payment and buy your own truck. Schneider has a very good lease/O-O program.
