Perhaps Marten was pre-occupied or stunned at what he saw. The road was straight enough that he could have seen the front of a truck coming at them and slowed enough to give the other guy the lane.

Yea, but some of us refuse to lower ourselves to accept old technology. My oldest Android phones were doing things that the iCrap6 just started having the ability to do (at least on Verizon). And besides, some of us refuse to ever worship before the Alter of the Almighty Jobs (by buying anything Apple)

 

But Samsung and Google are noble, modest companies?

Apple is worried...Samsung's newest paperweights are so popular that they may not have time to produce the processor and screens for the next iPhake7...Apple business model is to either buy out other companies or buy components from competition, maket it as their own, then talk trash about the competition for copying their stuff...if it weren't for Samsung making parts for Apple, we'd still hear about the iPhone 3.
