Where Are You Continues, Again.....

It's 21:30 here in Cabo Frio, RJ and I am in my hotel room, sitting on the bed...

Started my day walking for 30 mins from hotel to main bus terminal and took a bus to the house...



Met with someone at the house and gave him a briefing about what he will do after I'm gone...



The weather was nice, hot and sunny but I sat at the veranda waiting for another neighbor... Had to give him too some instructions for when I'm gone....

By the time I was ready to go to the beach, a storm came and it rained hard for a while...



So, I grabbed a big barrel and filled it up with rain water to store it in the house. There's no street water in there right now. And I also checked for any leakage... found none... seems the roof job is working.

It was just a passing cloud though... Soon those blue skies appeared again...



And I went to the beach for some resting and thinking...



Then, took a bus back to Cabo Frio... And as I was passing by São Pedro D'aldeia, the sun was out again...



When I arrived at the hotel, there were lots of guests leaving after the end of the holiday today. Took a shower and went out again looking for something to eat. Didn't find exactly what I wanted. Bought a portion of french fries and another of salad of cooked legumes. I threw those eggs away cause I don't eat eggs...



Tomorrow will take a bus at 8 am to the city of Rio. Will stay in Rio's downtown and do some little shopping... It's an almost 6 hr round trip...

 

This is my bike, Kawasaki KX450f, it gets up and moves lol !

 

Dropped my trailer at the Nashville yard and ran down to Smyrna to grab my next load.
Got back to Knoxville with 1 minute left on my 11, done 668 today
Headed back to Carteret, NJ again.
I don't care much for Jersey but I sure like the miles

 

It's almost 1 am here in Cabo Frio... Y'all have a good and safe night wherever you are...

 

I'm on the couch at home. I haven't been here enough I guess I opened the door and Booby barked at me. Then seen it was Dad and jumped on the back of the couch wanting rubbed. I miss him being in the truck with me but I feel better knowing my girls ain't home alone.

 

Bout to roll down 81st st. Be at the house this afternoon, then drop this load in the mornin. Prolly do a lil shorty round to finish the week. Check y'all in a bit.

 

I don't recall how yesterday went. Except the unrealistic expectations.
Kinda ran all over town. I sit in my pickup truck a lot. This morning I feel like I been run over and beat up. When the alarm first sounded I didn't know what day it is.

A pure dirt bike wouldn't get much work. Though I live way out of Houston there just aren't that many places for a dirt bike. Doesn't seem to matter in any case.

snow was all from Sherman to Elk Mtn
that big wreck at 292 was mostly cleared up
just the burned up trailer hulks getting busted up into rolloffs

 

Twas a 4 day.
Not far from Airport to Crowley with 467#.
SDV to British Air with 110#
SDV to Manchester with 290# class 9 has.
Union Tech to SDV with 134#.
At 4:30 I mentioned I could hit the three major shippers to the Airport.
He answered "home"
Walked into home 5:45.

 

Back at Frystown, PA at the J. Going to get up at O dark thirty and head to Carteret, NJ. Run up to Saddle Brook and be out of Jersey before noon . got 568 today, good week so far, hopefully at the house early Friday afternoon
