I wish I could stay out that long I would get burned out real quick everyone is different . I just find it difficult to get any decent exercise while out on the road.

Unhappytrucker is either:
A: An executive for this company attempting to spare it's reputation.
B: Suffers from a form of 'Cognitive Dissonance' which is a mental stress or discomfort experienced by an individual who is confronted by new information that conflicts with existing beliefs, ideas, or values.
Or C: Is subscribing to 'Post-Purchase Rationalization', which is a cognitive bias where the buyer, or in this case, employee overlooks any faults or defects in order to justify their purchase (employment).
Either way, living on this thread for months defending against what appears to be a justified pattern is not necessary. These people are giving their opinions and experiences, and you take it personally for some reason. Let it go, no one should be expected to have the same standards as you, so declaring that these people aren't cut out for the industry is just invalid.
This company sounds like ####, so it's probably fitting that you work there instead of a good company. -
you think there aren't any drivers that stay out on the road or just live in the truck? and that makes them a shill for a company?

Ummm yeah...
And we say "to each his own"
....if Mr unhappy is happy we should be happy for him huh?
.... But be honest yeah he sure does sound like a major shill for the company for one simple reason......he talks to much to be such a lone wolf for starters and the rest? we don't need to mention.
.... Sure there certainly are drivers that live on the highway,
But they don't have alot to say
....my trucker instinct tells me
This guy is doing some damage control for this welfare trucking operation..... Drivers don't waste your time applying for this outfit, there's a very good reason why they are looking for warm bodies to operate their equipment....
It's called welfare trucking!!!!
Rest assured if you go to work for these people you will regret it10shilling6pence Thanks this. -
... I'm sure their track will either speak for itself or find them out and tear them to pieces in a matter of time
..... Mark my words!!!!!
A good tree can only grow good fruit
Just as a bad tree can only grow bad fruit.... No amount of BS will ever escape this fact... Trust me -
Do they train newbies?

I have to say I tried these buggers out and tossed them within a few months. The only thing they are good one is maintenance the rest is crap.
It is a one sided company to a point and that point being if you have years of experience and a perfect CSA they will bend somewhat since their score is in the tank. When I left they had reached 100% on accidents and within a week had a couple of more including a fatality.
They do pay okay but not worth how hard they ride a driver.
Worked team dedicated and even there had to fight to be home a full 48 hours. My co-driver was somewhat of a newer driver and they dumped on him any chance they got.
Will laugh like hell when the feds finally go in and shut them down....which I hear will not be too much longer.
They will then probably just sell off to Swift or some other company.
One other point I have to make. When they hire you they say they will take 100 bucks out if you do not give notice but took 500 from my co-driver and said he had to pay that but took none from me.Last edited: Aug 24, 2015
