got a PM notice from the shop today, I have the baby trucker thinking he's gotta clean my truck out...isn't that what a PM is?

So I hear suckload is getting rid of dispatchers and going to automated dispatch lol
paul_4lp and CargoWahgo Thank this. -
I drive an automatic for a day cab. Please note: Please make sure you put it in neutral first, and then in reverse while backing up, and give it a moment to change, because if you don't. The automatic will cause whiplash, if not done properly.paul_4lp Thanks this. -
Less hassle for them when they screw up. At least with automated, they cannot feel anything that you say when they screw up.paul_4lp Thanks this.

The autos had a big hand in me leaving.
Takes the fun out of driving the truck.
Nice thing is the engine brake is where the trolley brake is. I would always baby that thing going down hills so it was habit of hitting it.
Way all the mountain tow drivers did it so did I.
Prostar= best ride. Horrid hill pull. Fine visibility. Most uncomfortable seat and wheel. Tiny pedals. Giant sleeper.
Truck I would buy if running the plains only dedicated on asphalt.
T600= funnest truck to drive with the cat 13spd. Great pull great visibility. Worst ride. Felt like the steer is right under your ### every friggin bump man. This is a skinny mans truck you can literally reach over and let customs in the passengers door. (Great for reaching in and grabbing a cold drink in your passenger seat) Ducking is a must when squeezing thru the tiny bunk area.
T660 same as above except add in stupid tag axle issues and weak bumblebee Cummins pull.
Cummins=unreliable.
Automated cascadia=
Opti idle giant sleeper is great. Good ride. Automated tranny makes backing a pain with less control if you aren't used to giving it a good kick of fuel in reverse. Turning visibility is blind pretty much minus the hood mirrors.
Detroit is a bit better than the Cummins bumblebee if you put it in performance and don't use the cruise (if you eco cruise you are going 15 up to st Louis)....
Great linehaul truck would be my choice for team running. Just throw that ###### frontal collision system off.
Volvos are still my fav.to look at
The daycab I ran around Joplin doing local had a cushy seat nice ride. Headlights weren't that great only complaint. KW has the best headlights.
Never got to drive one of the Pete's but never liked peterbuilts anyway :-/paul_4lp Thanks this. -

2 stops going to Waco two more coming out, thats 70 bucks and stop pay...that should buy an extra large popcorn at your next movie matinee
-
getting up p.m. at the Peetro in San Antonio morning report says were 45 truck short in Central Texas I wonder where I'm going when I get empty...
-
Automated dispatch...that will reduce the hold times...should be able to put in for layover anytime...no waiting for manager to come to work....Automated planners would be a nice touch, then we could afford that nice lady that was on the switchboard...awww that's crazy talk
CargoWahgo Thanks this.
