In that case, the 680's are superior easily to the Prostar, in all points.

-More comfy (Seats are more adjustable)
-More roomy (Top bunk can fold up)
-Less Rattles
-Better thought out shelving (in my opinion, though I'd miss the overbunk storage cubbies.
-Easier to control cab/sleeper lights, and the switches are not on the back of the sleeper.
-Pull better
-Ride much smoother
-Automatic = no gear shifter on the floor = much more room.

I had two 680's (13 speeds) when I started @ Con-Way, they were both troublesome in the electronics department. I am hoping they were just part of a bad batch, or rushed production as my prostar is almost at retiring age. I'd rather have a Cascadia, but I'd take a 680. Or I could keep this rattletrap (440k miles).

Any of you guys make money on the road other than driving?
I would always buy little crap I could throw in a box like antique video games from GameStop and hawk it on eBay for 10-15 a pop profit even with flat rate box shipping.

Guys should look into that.
You can buy the romance three kingdom games for 99 cents and sell for 20 like shaboom.
Mario/nintendo stuff holds value so no profit to be made there but Sony stuff has quite the margins.

Conway freight yards and walmarts are your friends. That's called grocery money folks. XD

Harley shop in Waco is usually buy one get one free. Stuff was selling pretty hot online after the recent shooting. Money to be made there for instance.
Ppl around here loved that ####. $5 cheaper than retail gets rid of 20 shirts in a week.

 

Sat at the LA Freight yard all weekend long, 2 restart in a eek, once in Phoenix and now LA, last week got 1989 miles, hoping for more this week. Gave us a load last night delivering to a Food 4 Less store @ 11pm took them 4 hrs to unload us, then had to go to Maruzen in Carson,CA that place was a mad house tooj them almost 4 hrs to load us, now stuck in traffic headed to Jackson,MO doesn't deliver till Friday might see about relaying it somewhere along the way

 

1. is that Maruzen is it good load. I spent a month there one night. nice and heavy drive about an hour and 10 minutes to get to a scale luckily it was ok.
