    I would Like to report Landstar so we got a load from them the load was about 150 miles away from my drivers location and he went there and spent 3 hours there waiting long story short we talked to the agent there said there having a problem they waited us wait more and more and then they have canceled the load on us and now there onlying pay us 65 dollars for my driver spent more then 65 dollars to get there out of his own pocket and theses guys are only paying 65 dollars for bs i called the customer support number they gave us and they were rude and hung up on us and so screw this ######## company they should be paying us minimum 500 dollar just for the day wasting my drivers time and my time and canceling he drove 150 there and back so made 300 miles ######## company.what do you guys think i should do

    How or why did your driver spend more than $65.00 out of his own pocket to get there ?

    its 150 miles from his location he had to go pick it up and look at the fuel prices.you would be ok with 65 dollars for 150 miles?:rolleyes: I still want to know how it cost your DRIVER more than $65.00 out of his pocket unless you are charging him rent on the truck or is he paying the fuel

    Its probally either he lost $65 in lost wages or $65 in lost fuel, but in this case its' both.

    Shame on landstar though. I had that happen to me with Landstar in PHX only I was screwed over by waiting 3 days for a hazmat load which landstar fined the broker, yet the broker never paid us (me, boss) the fine......

    Fine people some of the landstar brokers are....

    Well if I dispatch my drivers on a 300 mile round trip for a load that cancels the are out of pocket $0.00 they get paid , I bite the bullet if its a non paying load.

    As for LANDSTAR customer service being RUDE wonder the attitude they were subjected to when they picked up the PHONE a ongoing RANT or a PLEASENT inquiry ?
