In the last 6 weeks we've only been averaging 1800, spoke with our FM about it and she said miles has been low for everyone, this load here in Blythe got canceled at 430am was suppose to pickup at 8am, so now were back to square one, really get pissed, they suppose to be using a new system to plan loads at least according to our FM, OK good news as I'm writing this we're headed to Phoenix run a local load then to Nogales then to Taylor,MI close to 3000 miles

I've been getting closer to 3200 a week, for the last 6 weeks. This week is going to be short I think, I got a TSC load today with 390 miles on it that delivers Sunday @ 0800. Going to get a 34 out of the deal, and that's about it.

Sitting at Joplin in my new KW-680. Finally got everything out of the old and into the new. Talk about work. I’m really impressed with the room in this new truck. I feel like I died and went to heaven. Still apprehensive about the automatic transmission though. Anyway, got to take a new truck class in the morning and then hopefully get a load. Take care.

C.M. Breen, I got a question for you. I am not sure if I asked this to you or not. Do you drive for Conway Truckload, or are you an employee of Conway Truckload? Conway Truckload will tell you it's slow right now. Which they actually mean is the fact they have other drivers that have to get miles, and you're not the only ones. The truth is they cannot put it into that context, because if they did they would get in trouble for being rude. A company factors several things:

    1. How much are we paying this driver? What do we have to do as a company to balance the pay across the FM's board? A FM is nothing more than a professional person that is the go to person, if someone needs answers to the question, and to answer the phones appropriately.
    2. Does this driver idle a lot? If you all are costing the company alot of money, hypothetically speaking, but if you all are costing the company a lot in fuel, then, they will take that into consideration.
    3. How long have they been out on the road?
    4. How long has this driver been with the company?
