I usually turn my key on and watch to make sure the gauges do their deal, then I start it. I have no reason for it, just a habit.
VeganTrucker Thanks this. -
Always wait for the sweep. It goes faster after the full guage sweep. Time them, and see which one gets to the bottom first.
Seriously though, I dn't know, but I let mine go through it's little 'routine' before it gets a crankin'.Grijon Thanks this. -
As a Yard man in LTL, we gotta hook 50-60 trucks a night for Linehaulers. We jump in and start 'em immediately and they don't seem to mind.
Though I prefer to give any vehicle a few seconds if I'm not under the gun. -
My 2014 Cascadia won't crank immediately, it might take 5-6 seconds after turning the key to "on", that you turn to "start", and it cranks and starts.
Grijon Thanks this. -
