Got my truck fixed yesterday in Mokena, IL. Had an emission malfunction indicator light on since I was in Aransas Pass last week. It also made it hard to start the truck. Now being unloaded in Brookville, IL after picking up a loaded trailer at Conway Freight in Chicago, which took an act of Congress to get to. As I had to drive the wrong way on a one way street and on top of that my Rand McNally was telling me I was violating a weight restriction. Nonetheless, that was the only way in and out. One must do what one must do to get the job done sometime. My next load pickups in McCool, IL and goes to Suwannee, GA. It’s a hazmat load.
paul_4lp and CargoWahgo Thank this. -
Keee heeee heeee....
You know you can just turn right looking at pilot and make a right before you hit the bridge right? Right and drive straight in.
Easier then looping all the way back.Trick or Treat Thanks this. -
Reverse your directions and that's the way I went in because that is the only way you can enter and exit right now. Just ignore the sign that says, "Do Not Enter". On the way out, I turned left at California, passed in front of the Pilot/RoadRanger, and then exited to I-55.CargoWahgo Thanks this. -
I think I know the CWF you are talking about, sounds like you came in the back way.
Also the Rand always tells me I'm to heavy for all sorts of roads, it's rarely accurate
