Getting real slow these days .

I'm the same way. I figure that all exterior qualities fade and become lacklustre. But the insides, the metaphorical insides, stay and often get better as time goes on.

I often told my older customers that they were like scotch... Got better with age.

Had a 90 year old challenge me on that one day... Her argument was that scotch does get better with age, but scotch is only a fraction of a portion of things that age. She's right, and I retorted with, "then that makes finding good aged scotch a rare and incredible thing."

Kinda miss my customers some days...

Ice. Cold. ...hell I'd have taken anything alcoholic and ice cold yesterday. Unloading that liftgate trailer left me sopping wet and wondering when I drove into hell!

Take it as you will but I'm a demanding lover. I like to be stimulated, and if you don't have brains and a personality... My fiancée (prior to us dating) out of the blue started talking to me about nuclear physics, particle physics and string theory... I was shocked. ...and then shocked her with a very engaging 4 hour conversation.

Parked in Forest park. Kinda tired but I need to run home to prepare a few things. Right now I'm letting the truck idle and staying cool. No idea where I'm headed tomorrow, but I wouldn't complain too much if I didn't have a load; there's plenty o' #### to do at the house that in behind on.

 

I simply MUST get a newer more reliable vehicle.
My heart is set on a van. But 2nd place is an F150.. I know they made at least some with space behind the cab and an 8ft bed.
Will kinda miss the liftgate, but not TOO much!

BTW it was a 3 day. Industrial Chemical very near Hobby to 3 miles away I drum of Ethylene Glycol.

Money will get you girls that's for sure....but it gets the wrong type. I know this for a fact from two years in the oil fields watching other guys waste hard earned money on ho's that left them the instant the oil price drop hit us hard.
