They are remodeling the driver's area. Yesterday they had me and 2 others move so they can restripe. Had lunch with coordinator. I need a new driver's seat. Anyone recommend one that's not $2000.00 lol.

I seem to remember freight behaving just like this. With 1 major exception, fuel prices are not pushing $5. It was back in 2008. Everyone blamed their trucking companies then, many would try to other companies just to realize the grass is not always greener.

As for for the guys that do well being all luck? (And I realize you are van and I am not, so I won't disagree on the van side but I bet it's not much different then FB). I'm not sure luck has all that much to do with it. I'm not saying I've never gotten a lucky load. But luck would be taking a $3 load from OH to Billings MT figuring that your going to DH to SLC or something. Then having a $2 load come up from Billings back to OH. Now that's luck! But I don't think it's luck when you consistently place yourself where you know there is a lot of good paying freight going to areas of other good paying freight. I think that's working the board. I don't think it's luck when you are prebooked 1-2 weeks out fairly consistently. Again you only gotta work the board. But I suppose many would say all that is just dumb luck. Maybe it is.

Just for any of u that do oil samples. It's never a good idea to stick a small tube into engine oil and suck the oil up. The fumes don't taste good lol.
