You ripped the airlines away from the trailer and you are worried about the grease on them? I'd be worried about the damage at the gladhand connections. Even if it seems ok right now I wouldn't trust the lines. Replace the hoses, and file the expense as an educational expense. You learned from this, I trust.
But that's just me, I don't fancy having a hose let go somewhere where you can't pick up a replacement easily.

Start with a pressure washer with a burner, like a hotsy, and yeah brake clean, gasoline, any degreaser should work. Wear latex or nitrile gloves

So. You replace your hoses everytime they break..to which DOES happen. Specially in the winter time.
What if told you. That you can fix that $35 hose for $.25.
I carry spare crushers on my truck. Hoses are easy to fix.Ougigoug Thanks this. -

Well, as a company driver, yes, I am inclined toward replacing things like that rather than repairing them. If I ran my own truck I might feel differently.
That being said, we are talking about a guy who can't remember to disconnect his lines before pulling away from a trailer and now can't figure out how to scrape some grease off of his hoses. I doubt he'd be inclined toward great skill in repairing air lines. I could be wrong.
