I would still negotiate with your ops mgr every time. I see it as a 'nothing to lose' situation, you're not taking the load that cheap and it is a waste of time explaining to the guy how it is too cheap. Just tell him what you would do the load for moneywise that's it. I have a feeling these ops mgr's are presenting good paying loads as cheap loads and keeping the difference for themselves just like a broker agent-- despite what EagleOps says because few people walking around on top of the planet are capable of that level of incompetence.

 

Yeah that's what im not understanding either! Here's the thing...I wasnt looking to even get loaded,not a peep from me coz I was tired and sort of looking on my own thinking what I wanted to do...my hours were t great but doable for a small load...point is,I wasn't looking and definately didn't ask them for help....usually I let them know if I find a load or ask what they have ....any ways looks like I started a war with him....coz we have a ummmm email exchange now apparently that's being cc to a few others there....I should just copy it here....

Heads up for you drivers out here that aren't following the drama on the Eagle FB page. This was just posted by one of our drivers; leavening name out but if you go to FB you can find it yourself. Just an FYI, take it for what it's worth.

"To all eagle drives FYI I left eagle Monday morning. I didn't owe them a dime. I was there over 4 mths. I turned my trailer in and took my truck to another company. I asked on my way out. When do I get my maintenance escrow and Qualcomm escrow back. I was told you don't. I said in my contract it's 45 days. They said only if you fulfill your 5 year contract and pay off the truck can you have your escrow. So to all you know it all's. I have the proof I have the text and email. I...'ll so it doesn't not transfer to quality to go to another quality company. You ####ing loose it so they got 2500 dollars of my money my miles that they made me put in this escrow. So #### Eagle and anyone else that stands by them and think this #### it right. I was told I had to stay 90 days before I could transfer. Return there equipment to the proper terminal owe them nothing at end I would get what's left. Well I made 43,000 in my stay there in cash advances I only took 110 dollar 55 for loads locks and 50 for a reimbursement. For a lumber. That's it and I take it in the ### so #### em and and anyone else that thinks that's right. Believe me I'm making some phone calls."

 

Yeah I just read it...I actually have something else I know from that exact driver....makes eagle look super super bad!!!i had heard that from others before....solution? Get all the work done on your truck U need before u leave....that's what I'll do now.....

 

@montanajellyman are U planning your grand exit too? Found out my first choice is I can't take the truck coz it's too new....what bs

 

LOL Fr8, yea I learned well from my granddad. I never go into something with out an exit preplaned. Right now planning next exit if new situation doesnt work.

 

Monkey you can take your new truck but to only the ones approved for it the ones that you can take a new truck to should be a good sign that you can make money there to pay the bill on it
