Need help understanding "New" codes in Paccar engine.

I am just thinking this way. We can connect Davie and clear codes. Then we can leave ignition open and Davie connected. We will try to shake/move wires, connectors. At one point the codes will come on again and that area could be faulty/loose place..

 

My local kw dealers shop is always full of those engines all with some form of emissions problem......

Drop a tree on it (or let the dpf burn it to the ground) and be done with it..

That is the problem with the computer generation. The little scanner tool says this part isn't working right so they change it. What they don't seem to realize is that there are half a dozen other things in most cases that will cause a particular fault.

 

Guntoter, I know off a case similiar to yours,aldough it was not emmissions problem.
There was doubt about the ecm.
That dealer installed a new one with agreement that if the problem was not solved, they would reinstall the old one.
You think you could talk Rush into doing that?

 

Hire a Swift to turn too tight and catch the hood with the middle of his trailer bad enough to damage the engine , then hire a CRE to back into whats left. Then insurance will total it, Swift and CRE pays for it, and the problem is solved

 

MegaDrivers would not do that. it's just your imagination...lol
