A little background on me, I've been driving for a year and a half. I did a year of Dollar Tree. I actually liked that job. I was in phenomenal shape. But I bumped the trailers into stuff a couple times so I had to find a new job. Then I started driving for a small outfit (~20 drivers). Good people there. I like this job too. It is nice and easy. Problem is the trucks. They have a bunch of crusty old Freightliners. I am in 2012 glider kit Cascadia. It has had a lot of regen issues.
The mechanics at this place are pretty zealous. When I started there, when I would write the post trip paperwork, I would write that the engine light is on. I would get an earful for that. They always insisted that I call immediately when that happens. Well, it happens a lot. It's always the def system. I don't think I've made it a month without having to be seated in a different truck while it is in the shop or being sent back to a dealership to get some sensor replaced or something. It's not the worst situation, but it annoys me wondering how many more days until I have to grab the essential stuff out of the truck and get situated in a different one for a while.
So, how long can you ttr netizens drive for good people with crappy trucks?

Depends how much you like the other things about the company.Seems like they try to keep you moving while your truck is in the shop which is more than some companies are going to do.You're going to find issues with every company all it is now is seeing if the good outweighs the bad with the current company

If they keep you moving give them a chance...some companies are good at it, others suck.

Trucks break down - just a fact. That's trucking. Yes, it's annoying.
Our final company job, would tow a truck to you, and pay by the hour while you waited. Still, it's a PITA.
Especially having to chase the inverter or something you forgot half way across the country. -
