huh, too true. I think maybe oxidation/nitration stuff makes tbn number redundant? Like when oxidation/nitration/sulfur indicators are bad it means TBN number is bad? might have to research that lol

The CAT kit is 13 but if you want TBN it's another 20 and if you want postage they charge a few extra dollars for that too. Schaeffers seems like the best deal currently for 28 postage paid if you want TBN and TAN done. Blackstone is 38 and Amsoil is 34 if you want them to do TBN. I'm going with Shaeffers.

To do CAT lab kit costs $16 here in WA.

i use cat, i have used Blackstone in the past before as well.
