    Being a Truck driver is getting worse every year, the pay sucks, shippers suck, parking is harder to find,
    Hours are ridiculous, unless you like to abuse yourself and let others abuse you don't do it.
    I drove for 5 years and quit. Flatbed and the worked in Nuclear waste, thought it would end good, but
    There are less and less good companies and when there are someone comes in and changes it.
    If you can just stay home and work local, before they take your life.

    All I know is that our wages are gonna suck when the rest of the population starts earning $15 minimum. That's a 107% increase from the federal $7.25 minimum!

    Are they going to raise our pay 107%? Nooo they aren't.

    Not sure where you're from but here in Alberta they plan on raising minimum wage to $15 from $10 something as well. Looks good on paper because it looks like people will have a liveable wage, right up until the price of everything jumps up 30% because of higher labour costs, then we are right back to where we started.
