The title of the post and the original explaination hold all the keys. This is clearly the material that mega carriers have to deal with as far as new hires.
    1. 2 months is not enough time to determine if the employer or employee is at fault for the failure.
    2. No mention of documentation, dates, times, loads, operations personnel mistakes or poor treatment.
    3. No mention of attempt to go up the chain of command to resolve outstanding issues.
    4. You were on the terminal property and you weren't responsible enough to settle the issue face to face?. Are you waiting for Mommy to do it for you?
I am sure they are as glad to be rid of you as you are them.

Sneakerfix, Ougigoug and drvrtech77 Thank this.

Pretty much most of dryvan/port offices right now. They've moved a bunch of problem children around, and it's utter crap now, well, worse as I've seen it in years. We also have the Nacho Branch running everything they can get their wheels over, drivers dying in the rigs, and just weird stuff going on. Fajo is going to be happy as a pig in a pooppile because they got rid of the biggest problem in his terminal and sent it also to the dryvan/port side.

I'm too old to try and settle stuff face to face with a bunch of half mentally damaged kids so why waste your time. 98% of the people working for Knight outside HQ haven't been there much more than two years if even that long.

    Fajo Thanks this.

PETTY crap quitting under dispatch is not petty what if it had been a produce load or a load of meat or a high dollar load, the company I'm with checks all this stuff out due to 2 reasons we have one of the best CSA scores in the industry and we don't haul cheap freight

Not only that, it really doesn't matter how you quit Knight. They'll wait six months and call you back, regardless of how you quit or under what circumstances. They are perfectly aware of how horrid they are to work for.

They'll give the driver a few months to cool off them send them a stupid postcard inquiring wether or not "the grass is really greener on the other side." Most of these postcards and solicitations to former drivers end up in the trash and that's a fact. That's why they offer weekly orientation at many of their terminals. Knight is a bottom feeder meat grinder doing their job at keeping wages in the toilet.

But of course Knight will always have their defenders. Often wonder if most of those defenders are really drivers. Sort of doubt it, in most cases.
But as I posted earlier, I'm sure a lot depends on what terminal a driver works out of, and how good a dispatcher they have.

OOOO So much truth to this, You don't even know. So nice getting to get the truck serviced now.

Now to the other point, I also don't deal with most of Knight. I deal with my terminal and for anyone that has worked for or knows of the terminal I'm out of, will understand why I have had a decent experience. Then again most the people that are there have been there sense it was Ed Bro's with the exception of one DM and one Load builder.

I can tell ya, I am a driver. =) And I just state my experience. As I have said in many many other threads, It could all be based on the terminal i'm out of, either way i'm happy.
