I was passing thru between jourdanton tx and Devine tx and speed limit is 70. My question is: a trooper was heading eastbound and I watched him u-turn behind me so I pulled over. I assumed he was pulling me over for seatbelt but I keep mine floppy because I hate the thing squeezing my guy. He had me open door and I asked what the problem was. He asked if I let the truck get away from me on the slight downhill. I was empty with cruise set at 67'. So I asked him what the speed limit was( the sign was 20 ft in front of me 70. So he asked if I delivered product where I left and headed. Asked for license / medical card/ truck paperwork checked all lights wipers logs and THEN said : I'm giving you a warning. So I signed his tablet and now I'm lost about what the next thing to do after looking at the printout. No number to call or anything. So does this affect my csa or what??? Had my CDl license 5 yrs with no moving violations/accidents and my class a with no tickets/ accidents either past 10 yrs.

Yeah, it will be on your p.s.p. (Pre employment screening program) Your psp is you're csa. Any misadventures at the scales or any recordable accidents will be on there. You can get a copy of you're psp for $10.00.

Sneakerfix and jowada Thank this. -
Yep, warnings do indeed go on your driving record. And the worst part is you can't even fight a warning like you could a ticket.
flood, jowada and Cottonmouth85 Thank this. -
For some crazy reason warnings are worse a bit of a head scratcher but whatever
jowada Thanks this. -
Can't do anything with a warning. During the safety blitz of 2014 I was giving a warning and put out of service for my front brakes not working. Of course my brakes were working fine the officer just didn't know how to check. Had a mechanic come out, he checked the brakes found nothing wrong and signed my warning. Point is, you can't talk or reason with them, they write what they want when they want. Micky Mouse system if you ask me. That OOS is still on my record and completely unearned.
rachi, KB3MMX and bubbavirus Thank this. -
Is that only once you have a CDL? Because I dont have my CDL yet and I can tell you I have had multiple warnings and not a single one shows on my MVR. I'm guessing its just a CDL thing because Ive never been given any paperwork for a warning either its just "I'm going to let you off on a warning I know those foxbody's sure are fun just be safe out there" stuff like that.

Why would you pull over if he didn't light you up?
