    I've grown tired of the "drop ship" mentality. I understand not having fenders or big items on hand but it's extremely frustrating when you go to order lights or small stuff and it takes 3 weeks to show up.

    Me too, I've never had a problem with Raney's, 8 or 10 years, couple thousand $ at least. Just my $0.02.

    Yeah, they all say that but we all expect that our product will be shipped immediately. There are dozens of places to buy truck parts. Assuming most of them are closely priced, I'll go with the ones who ship the same day, I won't wait a month for Raney's to ship my stuff (especially when they charge my card the same day).

    Having a big warehouse with product in it and shipping from the closest location is exactly how Amazon has destroyed the competition. Raney's won't survive very long when others deliver products before they even ship them. I could have ordered the EXACT same camera from Amazon for LESS money and it would have been delivered last week... My mistake (won't happen again).

    Amazon doest the same thing. My wife ordered a present for my daughter's birthday 7/21. It has never arrived, oh they already got paid. My daughter will probably out grow it before we receive it. They all suck.

    .... Two weeks later..... Still no products. Ordered a 1/2 drive Dewalt Impact from Amazon Prime 72 hours ago, have it in my hands now.

    Been on hold 30 minutes waiting for "customer service" because I finally got my camera (10 days after I ordered it) and of course it doesn't power up. I know its not their fault but 30 minutes on hold waiting for instructions on how to return it.... Noice!

    Raney's is a legitimate place to buy parts and they don't keep a whole lot in stock. The parts ship LTL via the lowest bidder and it may take a week or so. I wouldn't cancel the order, just be a bit patient.
