I'm a 100% Company Driver - I am not a recruiter, thank you very much.
I saw his posting and mentioned "Check out Pride Transport" and gave him my contact info if he had any questions. Simple as that.

    I say again:
I would like to ask anyone that has a problem with these camera's.
Do you think the sales agent in a department store is having their freedom ripped from them?
Do you think the ATM you just used to withdraw your money is having your freedom ripped from you?
Do you think the overpass you just went under w/ the DOT Traffic camera is having your freedom ripped from you?

The fact is, today's world is filled with camera's. You might be fortunate enough to drive with one not in your truck, but the reality is you have more camera's watching your truck go down the road, getting gas, ect. than you know.
You can only run from these camera's in the trucks for so long. I guarantee you that this practice will soon be in all medium-large sized companies, if not mandated just like E-Logs are being.

I meant never trust a recruiter at any company, I don't know who you are but being you're defending this garbage...

What you are forgetting is those effing Cameras can listen in on your time off work while you are in your sleeper.
That does not compare to a sales agent at a department store or going to an ATM.
That's the equivalent a microphone is your bedroom.
I don't know about you all but I'd like some god darn privacy in my time off, not worried who might be listening in to my every conversation. If I have to call a bank, credit card company etc etc I'd feel more safe doing it outside of my truck. Is that a nice way to live? I don't think so.

Not only that but lawyers are always out against truckers.
If that spy camera catches you yawning 20 seconds before an accident some lawyer will twist that and turn it against you. Under rested while driving. etc etc
Crewing gum while driving?!? That's distracted driving!
Lawyers will use those videos to turn any little thing against the truck driver, if you fart while driving rest assured a lawyer will try to use that against you.
So much out here can destroy our careers as is.. we don't need to give lawyers any more tools to do so.

Being you're cool with this, do you mind me placing a microphone in your bedroom? Might keep you more safe. You know being cameras and microphones are all over the place as is you shouldn't mind

I drive a 2016 Freightliner and no camera in my truck.
A few people were hand selected to have cameras in their truck. and others were randomly selected to test the system out.

From the looks of it that driver that made that posting about their camera's seems to know the safety department real well, and was already beefing with safety a month prior also. He probably has the camera in his truck for a reason. All i'm saying...

I know this is off-subject, but here it goes: I keep telling you guys over and over and over, if you ALL refuse to drive a truck with a spy cam, they will be taken out so fast you'll wonder what happened to them. Big companies, small companies, doesn't matter. None of them can afford to let their trucks sit idle, even an outfit like Crete that has no debt. The customers won't stand for it and will take their business elsewhere. Grow some hair on your chest and stand up to this kind of garbage being forced down your throat.

That was a general observation, not directed at any body in particular

Thanks. I was all ready to post a big reply about how NONE of those cameras he mentioned even have audio recording, let alone record you in your home/bedroom. But you summed it up perfect!

That's a long list. Here's some help to narrow it down. What type of work you want to do, van, reefer, flatbed or tanker.

    Then minus companies with camara.

Then compare pay and benifits, that should leave u around 2 or 3
