all miles are paid the same. you are paid up on Dispatch. layover and breakdown is paid at $75 per day I put in for layover this morning for the weekend and had a response within a couple of hours.you get an extra $0.03 for hazmat I think you get an extra nickel for Northeast pay, that's anything above to the Virginia North Carolina state line, I've been to Long Island twice in 5 years never had to make a delivery within the 5 boroughs of New York

RoadShade Thanks this. -
back to your original question in the very first post, yes I would recommend it

If you want to be home in California often and you are going to be a solo driver, I would look elsewhere than Con-Way Truckload. I never "passed through" Sacramento unless I had requested hometime -- most of the time you'll be somewhere roughly between Laredo, TX and Detroit, MI
Aside from that, they are one of the better places to get some experience.RoadShade Thanks this. -
Being away from home is not a problem. As a matter of fact, I would rather do this.

Accepted an offer from them, did you train at Crowder College, and also did,you stay on campus. Recruiter said students stay on campus. Just want to be sure. Also how did you do
-
No. I was finally able to receive aid and went to a private school. Early next month I will have my test. I have many more, better options now. Will look into something else.
