We've had great Danes that were less than a year old and the connections inside the plug box on the front of the trailer came undone. They had a plug in style connection with almost no slack in the wiring. Two bolts hold the cover on, pretty easy fix.
i picked up a trailer without running lights

New utility tlrs have solid pins now

Glob it up with Dielectric grease, bud. Course that's easy for me to say. I never unhook.

Open up the wire box on the trailer.
Just cuz it's new doesn't mean wires don't wiggle loose. Electricity is like water. Follow the current, find the problem.truckon Thanks this. -
Had the same problem on a Freightliner Cascadia. Strangely, the fuse for the the marker lights as labeled in the Owner's Manual was not the one that was blown. I took the truck to the TA and they fixed it. I asked what the problem was and they said a blown fuse. "But I checked that." Apparently another fuse for I think the tail lamps if it blows will knock out the marker lights. WTF? Unless the fuse box is wired incorrectly.

Well seeing how it's new, you have to take it to the closet dealer for warrenty repairs.. The wait time is about 3 days at most dealers now days. So the load will have to either be delayed or trans loaded on to another trailer to make del. time or risk a service failure.. Any person doing warrenty work on said unit that was not approved by the builder will void all remaining warrenty on the said unit..
Good luck -
I've had this problem with my cascadia and Great Dane flatbed. The fuse will be F13 on the fire wall under the hood. If you blow that fuse twice there is a second pigtail on the rear of the trailer most likely behind the tag plate. It may be loose which is the problem I had. The manufacturer of the trailer will most likely have that pigtail in stock if not I think it's 2 or 3 day wait to order since its new.

TA fixed it quick. It was a fuse and darn it was the fuse I was staring at but didn't pull out since I didn't have my needle nose pliars otherwise I would have found it. Weird I never blown a fuse in my truck before.

I don't know if you or that trailer were around snow and ice but when ever I hit a lot of snow build up or hit a rough patch of road is when I get that issue. It grounds out in the rear pigtail and pops that 20A. I'm hoping we can find a Great Dane to repair it at a time that works with the load schedule
