Location?

St Louis has very good rates for us. Several times a year I run to the Rockies and almost always dh to st Louis. The rates in kc just don't justify slowing down add I pass right on through.

 

There is a reason for that. Any father west and the rate starts doing of drastically.

Now it won't be so bad for you cause you live there. When you go home you are gonna want to stay a few days or a week. That means when you're ready to go to work you will be near the top of the board and be able to grab a decent paying load when it pops up.

 

Looking at coming over, live in central IL. ( Peoria-Springfield area, just wanting to do short runs.
any feedback ?

 

Lots of short stuff near there. as long as you have realistic expectations you should do fine.
