Yea I've been flatbedding now a little over 2 years so I pretty much have every general item you can equip a trailer with.
I maybe have to purchase a few more chains an binders...I think I only have about 6-7 chains. (I only use em every blue moon)

Does the warranty cover everything "abs related"
-
I'd assume so but I can't say for sure.
Can't hurt to call and check. -
You do truck and trailer inspection at same time, the inspection facility is on the mercertown complex, there are several shops in the area, and also mobile guys that are onside everyday. If its under warranty do your best to get it before you come, but there should be a trailer dealer for any major brand in the Louisville area
-
If you unplug the pigtail overnight and plug it back in, does the light turn off for a bit? Not saying don't get it fixed, just might get you through the inspection. Lol. Not that I have the same problem right now or anything
Razorwyr and spyder7723 Thank this. -
Problem solved!
"Dirt & grime"
The teeth inside of the sensor was simply dirty lol. They cleaned it off an played with it a few minutes an the light turned off instantly. Something a simple trailer wash wouldn't get off according to the trailer shop...however I couldn't argue with no charge at all lol. I guess my warranty covered labor tooCJndaTruck and CasanovaCruiser Thank this. -
You have to let Mercer inspect the truck at orientation. And then once a calender year you need a Mercer inspection. And at six months you gotta get a new dot inspection at a approved facility.
Since you got your own trailer, stop and weigh it on your way to Louisville. Any scale ticket will work. That will save you some time.
But no matter how much you hump, you will not get loaded Friday, at least not a load worth pulling. you won't be on the board till Thursday night, so nothing good will be left. Just accept you ate gonna get a weekend off to enjoy the sights. Downtown is just a few blocks. Go check out the Louisville slugger factory and watch them make bats.larry2903 and jacquesi23 Thank this. -
You guys must be slow, I was outta there with a load
-
From a Wednesday class? He won't hit the board till almost 5 pm thursday. And that's if his truck passes inspection with zero problems. two full days of class and getting permits, truck lettering, etc. Trying to get a load on a Friday, when your at the bottom of the board is pretty tough. Well easy for any load, but not likely for a good load.

Me and @larry2903 was at a Monday class and still didn't leave until Friday. I think to do a Wed class and leave on Friday with a load that pays anything you gotta be lucky.larry2903 Thanks this.
