Walking around in flip flops, wife beater and sweat pants just says I don't have any pride in myself. It's cute for teenage girls to wear but not grown men in public

I'm more concerned with the hygiene and cleanliness. They can dress however they want.
It's when they're in front of me at the fuel desk and I can smell their last bowel movement that I get offended.

you are so far off base I'm five foot seven and 123 lbs I dress average jeans sweatshirts and tennis shoes.I do not dress to impress unless for a job interview I do not judge others for what they are wearing.

that's the problem maybe if everybody started to "judge" people more we wouldn't have people tossing piss bottles and crapping at truck stops and dressing like slobs

Great point. Course, if I couldn't crap at truck stops my digestive system would be in trouble. Otherwise I'm with ya!

Started to judge people more????????? Truck driving is the most judgemental industry there is.only a few of us have bigger fish to fry then worry about what someone is wearing.

Ask yourself this: If you were looking for a driver to drive a rig you've spent $100k+ on. You have 2 guys side by side. One has 20+ years of experience but looks like he just dragged himself out of the ditch. The other has only 4 years experience, but shows up neat and tidy, wearing decent, clean clothes. Right off the bat I'd send the guy who looks like a hobo out the door because it's apparent he just doesn't care.

C'mon guys we are being politically incorrect by judging slobs. We have more important people to judge, so carry on,
