I heard they are ok. I have a transportation company in Houston and sometimes move a little of their freight. My dispatching department has a good repore with their broker department.

The wear will be spread out over 8 tires so it won't be as apparent until it gets worn pretty good. What you could expect to see in your case would be outside edge wear on the right rear tires and inside edge rear on the front right rears, and the opposite on the other side. You will notice some feathering on the side edges of the tread lugs on the same side as the edge wear. You will also lose a few tenths on your mpg if the rears are out.Razorwyr Thanks this.

The problem is, that truck stop tech took a Saturday after noon web video class and is now"certified" and probably has done two or three alignments amonth since. He barely knows how to set the equipment up.
at a good suspension shop, they have one guy that does alignments, and has done so for ten plus years. 3 to 5 a day, day in and day out.Razorwyr Thanks this. -
My fuel mileage has definitely gone down, a good .5-1.0 mpg, but being that I took a good bit of time off, wasn't really paying attention to when it started, I was just attributing it to the colder weather. I knew the added rolling resistance would bring it down, but right at the weather change I didn't think I would be able to see just how much. I figure probably 50/50 weather/alignment.

I didn't realize how much mis-aligned suspension would hurt fuel mileage until I saw it on my truck many many years ago. Bought a truck with a small cam 350 and Pete 4 leaf spring suspension. It had a lot of play and every bushing was worn out. I was getting 3.5 to 3.7 mpg from the day I got it. I had the overhead run, I ran the overhead, the pump was rebuilt and had new injectors. The engine was a very recent rebuild. The gears were right for better fuel mileage too.
I pulled light loads of furniture out but still got the same mileage. I went to Minneapolis one trip and it rained all the way there. I had furniture that time too, and with the old concrete roads the tires were skimming across the pavement and I got over 5 mpg. I loaded a light load back but the rain had stopped. The mileage went right back to the upper 3's. I ordered all new suspension parts as soon as I got home. -
