I'm gonna have to call BS on "averaging" 13 mpg, even empty there is just no way. And there is no way that you are "averaging" 9.7 with 48k. Do you know the definition of "averaging"?
Why does everyone hate Prime so much?

I've been warned on here by mods for input into the Prime threads, so I generally keep my mouth shut.
My beef(s) with them is, as @Straight Stacks said - another mega contributing to the decline.
And - their lease program. I see it the same as the sub-prime mortgage (pun not intentional) fiasco, that allowed people to borrow money they shouldn't have, to buy over-priced houses in a fake 'bubble'.
I just have to bite my lip. It's perfectly legal, it's capitalism, God Bless America. Consumer protections only go so far - and if people are foolish enough to do it, then so be it. Shouldn't be any of my business. Seems that wherever a lack of will and hard work is present, there is an industry ready to make it easy for them.
The defensiveness encountered when any question is raised as to Prime and their business model is alarming. To me it reeks of a brain washing, and I've been to what my wife refers to as "The Complex" in Springfield, and you can see just how much money they've made at their chosen business model. I hate to say it, but the KoolAid jokes aren't far off, as the whole thing reminisces to Jonestown.
That, and I've had some pretty distasteful and rude encounters with Prime drivers. and some dangerous ones - "let's pull off the shoulder into heavy traffic" moves - no indication, nothing. The lease purchase program that appears to require team driving to succeed, is producing inept students. @123456 also pointed out to me that "referral bonuses" come in the form of free truck payments. That's real ethical.
And then I have to read about how it's all butterflies and unicorns at Prime on here. Aggravating, to me anyhow.
I've seen your posts @Kry0n , and I can see you have questions. And questions are good.
Speed -? I could care less if they drove 50 or 70, I'm always scanning.Old Man, BIF MALIBU, Cat sdp and 5 others Thank this. -
I'm talking in a week course just because you getting 6.5 mph stop hating

You're "averaging" over 9 mpg with 48k? Again, I don't think you know what that word means. If you are truly averaging over 9, then I think we are going to need to see some proof. Prime would make you driver of the decade if you had an average of 9.7 mpg loaded and 13 mpg empty.
When I drove over the road, I consistently averaged a little over 7 mpg over the course of months. I don't drive OTR anymore and I never have and never will work for Prime.Eeyore05 Thanks this. -
58 on the pedal 65 on cruise for company drivers.
65 for lease drivers. -

I don't believe outrageous and impossible claims that are made in a feeble attempt to impress strangers on the internet. I know Prime drills it into the heads of all their students that squeezing every millimeter out of each drop of fuel is the only way to be a successful driver, but making up absurd mpg numbers will not gain you respect from, or impress, experienced drivers. We know better.

Yes your right I'm sorry
