It can tell you so much useful information about your destination.
So, I was delivering to Glendale, WI surveying the area I was headed to, when I noticed something. There was a guy in a world of hurt at the time the satellite photo was taken. Not gonna make that corner and a line of cars sitting there wanting to get through. ouch

I've kind of always consulted google maps, and I've been using it with other drivers at our yard. When they ask me questions about certain stops I say "Lets consult google maps." One driver said to me today after we were done consulting google maps "Gee I never thought to use Google maps before."
NavigatorWife, finbyrd and Bob Dobalina Thank this. -
I check every time I go someware new. I like to know what I am getting into before I am there. A lot of times I see something helpful that I may not have noticed when I got there.White_Knuckle_Newbie, Highway Sailor, NavigatorWife and 1 other person Thank this.

I ALWAYS use satellite view when picking up or delivering somewhere new. I did a delivery in downtown Denver a few weeks ago to a customer with docks right off the street. The 3D map is really helpful in big cities. Helped me figure out which direction to come in on Yuma St.
tscottme, White_Knuckle_Newbie, Straight Stacks and 5 others Thank this.
