    That is absurd! So you're the driver that will take some junk beer load to some horrible beverage distributer that's been sitting on the yard for 7 days? These are "work ins" and you might get unloaded that day so you can turn the bills and get your $3.23 in mileage pay.

    My company has such a means in place for tracking down the nimrod that brought in trailer with issues and never wrote it up. I would imagine other outfits do as well.

    The ones in the office simply have to step away from their porn, or Fantasy Football, or whatever NON-work related crap they may be partaking in while on company time long enough to go do what actually IS their job.

    Actually its not if its broke why would you go sit at a repair facility for a day or a day and a half to watch someone else getting paid if the company is worth working for they have you take the empty to the repair place and leave it and get back to hauling freight and thats what the guy was saying if its loaded he fixes it if not he isnt going to wait for it to be fix just a thing called understanding.
