As many gasoline powered toys as i can get my hands on, nice spot of land with a decent farmhouse, I'd retire from this industry completely, after sending the ATA and FMSCA photos of my finger.

A little off topic here, but I ran to the grocery store today after work (I deliver groceries for a living, you think I'd shop while I'm working, but that's yet another story). I pick the shortest checkout line, it had one lady in front of me. She had a pretty hefty order, I think the total was $150 or so. She whips out an Access Card ( food stamps) to pay and goes on her merry way. After paying cash for my groceries, I decide to buy some scratch off tickets (the billion dollars I'm about to win apparently isn't enough). Anyway, guess who's standing in front of me at the lottery machine? Yep, the lady who was in front of me in the regular check out line. According to the digital read out on the automatic scratchie machine she had a $60 credit. Naturally she took her sweet time making her selections, then she turns around and says, "I now have to go put $50 on the Powerball." (Remember how she payed for her groceries).
I don't want to sound like a jerk, but I hope this isn't the type of person that wins tonight. I don't mean to stereotype or anything, but how can a person on assistance afford to gamble at least $110 ($60 + $50) on the lottery? And she looked completely capable (at least physically) to work. Am I wrong to be slightly upset by this????? Understandably, I don't know her whole story, but still....
P.S. I only won $5 on the $20 I stuck in the machine.sawmill, mountaingote, tucker and 4 others Thank this. -
I'd buy a 680 Kenworth, have a custom shop smooth the ride while Bob tailing
