I always love driving from about 8 AM in the morning after a nights sleep, until about 6 to 7 AM the next morning, take a 2 to 3 hour nap, & do it al over again. That's the way I did back in my OO driving days.

    Badmon Thanks this.

Prior to driving a truck, at my employer's peak busy season, I was up 48 straight hours, when the work was complete, the boss sent me home for a nap. I slept about 5 hours, then headed back...I remember putting on my shoes then the next thing I remember is when I was about to clock in. Everything in between is blank, and I lived about 25 miles from work.

I took a Greyhound from Newark, NJ -> Denver, CO back in 2001 with a few buddies of mine.

Stopped at Iowa 80, driver tells us we have 5 minutes to get what we need or he's leaving us behind.

Everyone rushes back and sits for 30 minutes, no driver. Finally someone ventures inside and finds him there enjoying a meal large enough for a family.

When we stopped in Nebraska, same thing - you have 5 minutes. We left with a guy running chasing the bus. Everyone was yelling for him to stop. He didn't. I wonder if that guy is still in Nebraska.

I would rather cuddle with Bruce Jenner's alter ego than ever set foot on another Geryhound bus.

I rode a bus two times. While I was in the Air Force back in the late 60's my car broke down at home.

I rode the bus to my Air Force Bases, them when it got fixed I had to ride it home to get my car.

That was not fun nor good entrainment.

Think of it as "an ADVENTURE!":D
    Or torture...
I caught a bus from Denver, all the way to Pueblo, a bit over 100 miles. Pretty bad snow storm, and the wipers on the bus failed just before the Monument Grade. The driver borrowed a passenger's cell phone to call ahead to Colorado Springs so they would have another bus ready to go. If memory serves, we waited over an hour in Springs terminal for them to get another bus roadworthy. This would have been about 2004/5, somewhere in there.
I couldn't believe they had no way of drivers communicating with the company when on the road.
Greyhound SUCKED then, and I'm betting they still do.

They do for sure. I've had a obese transvestite sit in front of me explaining to his friend on the phone the 'escapades' of his sex life or her depending which way the....we'll never mind

Took a greyhound from Syracuse to Phx and my butt was permanently dented inwards about 3 degrees
