Yes, the better paying customers always have lots of competition for their business. Your point is what? That because they deal with large carriers and not mom and pop one truck rodeo shows it means they don't pay well?

Na never been leased to one in my life. Several close friends made I good effort at it. Experienced operators mind you. As far as the mom and pop rodeo show comment that's basicly what you are minus any ability to generate any kind of freight or revenue of your own. Why can't a true Independant haul for a large customer? They can don't fool yourself. Put your money where your mouth is and quote your own rates and run your own buisness

 

The one man show (do it all yourself) might be write for you but for me it's like my painting franchise I share the wealth by hiring people to do some of the work for me hence 25% now I might make a little less money but I spend a lot less time

hat might be true in some respects but on the flip side if my truck breaks down I got an agent to find another truck to cover my ### and keep the customer happy

 

Mercer has nothing invested. That's interesting. Now your showing your true knowledge of how things work. Why do you with your own authorities hate so much that some find it beneficial to be leased on. You need to have an honest heart to heart with the guy in the mirror.

 

Looks like a classic example of some boys wanting to bore with a big auger but don't want to assume much risk.
