I didn't hit ignore, it was too funny to miss any of it, but you guys let him raise your blood pressure too much. Maybe I'm just too laid back, but Internet trolls aren't worth giving the attention they so desperately seek. Let him talk, he proved he had no clue by making claims that were clearly false. I'm glad you guys tried to set him straight. Not just for entertainment value, but because he has a misconception of how we operate based off of a broad brush he paints over all companies. Regardless, someone should tell him, but personally, that's too much negativity, and I'm not going to let some person I don't know, that is filled with rage (even if temporary) get me worked up. Life is too short not to be happy.MarkH83, spyder7723, taxihacker66 and 1 other person Thank this.

What you have been talking about sir, is pure nonsense. Also, you have not supported your ideas with any facts or actual numbers. A trucker/carrier arrangement is used by the trucker solely as a business relationship in order for the trucker to be competitive, profitable, and run their business how they feel like running it. Have you ever seen a doctor who works in their own front office, does the billing, conducts their own blood work? They pay or contract with somebody else to do that stuff because 1) they make more money by doing medical work in which they specialize and, 2) they don't feel like doing those tasks.
Most successful commercial enterprises do not conduct every aspect of business on their own, it does not make sense. Do you refine your own diesel fuel, manufacture your own windshield every time it needs replacement, hand carry your bills to the customer? I would guess that you pay somebody else to do those things as it would be a little bit ridiculous and an utter waste of time to try to do that stuff on your own.
A trucker leasing on to a decent carrier in order to create a workable business relationship does not warrant your type of criticism. If you have long term success with your own authority then that's great. However, since you are trying to blame lease operators for "low rates" I suspect that you are struggling with the business arrangements that you have made.roshea, spyder7723, Razorwyr and 1 other person Thank this. -
I've only hit ignore only once, that was yesterday
27 years at Mercer, sitting at home because I want to. Looking at everything I own, I don't owe anyone a dime.
I think that is success. It all came with Mercer on my door. I don't need to listen to some clown telling me, I don't know what I'm doing.Last edited: Jan 21, 2016
roshea, Starch, CJndaTruck and 9 others Thank this. -
What's crazy is he said mercer is driving down rates which I don't understand because if I'm getting 2.45 to the truck then the agent had to quote 3.00+ for a no tarp load which isn't bad in my opinion.
CJndaTruck and MarkH83 Thank this. -

A company with out its haters just isn't doing something right.
There will always be someone that hates a company for any number of reasons, it's usually because they failed at that company though.Razorwyr and whoopNride Thank this. -
